The Action Center functionality was thus implemented as an Internal Command. Microsoft made it look as if the Notification/Action Center icon is part of the system tray, but it really is a separate icon - which explains why you don't see it in the system tray icons shown by WorkShelf/NextSTART. It appears next to it, and that's a big difference.
NB: The icon appears in the standard Windows 10 taskbar notification area. THow do I get the Notification/Action Center icon to appear in Workshelf, please?
